Terms and Conditions
In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding reservations, the following are our terms of trading. In choosing SpitXpress PTY ltd as your Spit Braai Specialist, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  • Confirmation by Customers
  • All spit braai booking are considered provisional for up to 24 hours awaiting receipt of verbal/e-mailed confirmation. After the given timeframe we reserve the right to resell unconfirmed facilities.
  • Amendment's & Final Numbers By Customers
  • 2 days prior to function no changes will be accepted, this includes catering numbers, final details on timing, food and special instructions.
  • Deposits & Payments
  • A Deposit of 50% of the final price is expected within 3 Days of confirmation. The outstanding balance is to be paid 7 days prior to the function.
  • SpitXpress PTY ltd reserves the right to require full payment before any services are rendered.
  • The deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment should be made by EFT or Bank deposit and proof must be sent via sms or e-mail to secure your booking.
  • Should a booking be canceled two weeks or less prior to the function, the client will be held liable for the full amount.
  • Should any catering/Hire equipment be left behind for further use by the client, an additional R300 will be Charged for collection the next day.
  • Any damages to cutlery, crockery and tumblers will attract a R36 damage charge per item.
  • Hired equipment will have a R500 deposit and is refundable within 7 days after equipment has been returned and inspected. The deposit will be non-refundable if any damages are made to the equipment.
  • Cleaning fee off R200 with be charged on all hired equipment if not clean when returned .
  • Equipment returned late will have an additional fee of R300 Charged
  • Damages to cheffing dishes will attract a damage charge of R350 per item(Hired)
  • If damages are found you will be liable to pay the excess amount stated by our insurance company.
  • ID Book/Card or Drivers License is needed when hiring out equipment.
  • Proof of address is needed when hiring out equipment.
  • Proof of Payment is needed when hiring out equipment
  • General Liability
We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the service contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including vehicle breakdowns, electricity and water failures or fire alarm evacuation etc...
